Nickelodeon Characters

Hey all!

I've been booked to do an event for Time Warner Cable at out baseball stadium...and they specifically mentioned us doing Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network characters. I know we can paint them if we can see them but frankly, none of us have little kids so I have no clue. We don't even have cable in our house!

I know Dora and Spongebob/Patrick/that little pill shaped bad guy (even though I don't know his name! HA!). We don't actually get asked to do these, ever. So outside of those I'm a bit stumped.

Many of you have kids so could you please help a girl out!? What characters are popular this year/should I prep us for?

So, which ones are the ones that get requested?

The little kids will like the characters from wow wow wubzy. . .yo gabba gabba. . .team umizoomi . . Ni Hao Kai-Lan - that one actually has a lot of animals so you could do animal faces and call them their names

Also, my daughter loves iCarley, Victorious, and Big Time Rush, but I'm not sure how to translate "real" people into face painting.

I have ONLY ever been asked for Spongebob.

sponge bob, Dora and diego get asked for.

As for all those real people teeny bob show you could always sponge down a rainbow base and write the name of the show in pretty letters or even find out what the show's logo looks like and just do that on them

As far as the Cartoon Network goes, the newest latest "greatest" show on that channel is The Amazing World of Gumball, I personally don't like the show, but my son DESPERATELY wants to watch it and thinks the commercials are HILARIOUS. Here's a pic-

The other shows that are airing a lot on Cartoon network are Scooby Doo, Looney Toons...

I think my head just exploded with wth?? Some of those are definitely mouthfuls! I was picturing much more difficult stuff.

I think my mind is reeling at cartoons these days. So much for complex "digi-art" that was going to be the rage. lol

my new favorite show (well show I watch with my kids) Phineas and Ferb! We watch alot of Thomas the Train, Wow Wow Wubsy, Dora and Diego.

ut uh... I know have the map song stuck in my head. Oh the joys of having a 3 year old and 18 month old.

Phineas and Ferb is our current fav too, but it's Disney.

see how much I pay attention. I dont have c able TV actually. The only thing I have is Netflix...AND I LOVE IT! Instant viewing of almost any cartoon.


oh oh oh...Avatar the last airbender is Nickelodeon. I watched everyone of those. (Yeah i am a total geek...especially if I watch them without the kids)

We own all of the Avatar series, so I never knew it was Nickelodeon! lol Good to know! Painted blue arrows and hair loopies away...and Apa, and Momo.
