Raccoon for a Snow White play
Hey peoples! It's been awhile, I know. But I was hoping to get some feedback on a design I done for a play. The lady is askin for a full face Raccoon for a Snow White play. She actually said the character's name was Ronnie the Raccoon, but I googled it with no results, so I'm guessing that's just what they come up with so the child feels special. Anyway, I'm really happy with the upper part, but the mouth area just doesn't seem right. Any suggestions? Also, on the sides, I'm just gonna do 3 simple fur line triangles. (Ya no, keep it simple stupid, lol!) I hope that makes sinse. I tried to layer the fur on one side and that just looked silly. Contructive criticism very welcomed!!

I really love it!!! I like the shape of the mask. Sorry I wouldn't know how to improve it. I would like permission to use the idea. I think its cute the way it is.

WOW! Ok, didn't expect that response! Thanks everyone! Well, guess I'm good to go then. Next up is the squirrel, but that's tommorrow's project! And sure, anyone can use it.
Re: Raccoon for a Snow White play
Aahh so cute! To be honest, didn't know what a racoon was in English. Over here a band is called Racoon, but never knew it was named after an animal. It is clear to me thanks to you, lol.
Can't wait for the squirrel (I know what that is).

Re: Raccoon for a Snow White play
Hi, great idea, and well done, may i suggest the possibility of a white streak on the nose so it looks 'wet'
Re: Raccoon for a Snow White play
Thats good. You don't want too much tiny detail as they will be a distance from the audience on stage and tiny details would be lost

Ok, here is the Squirrel. I tried to do the one that the movie and book shows, but not really sure if it's passing the what is it test, LOL! The nose looks very dear-ish and I'm struggling with the mouth area AGAIN! Feed back please! And Thank You!!
And wow, how do you make that smaller? I tried another setting and think it might be bigger than the first, lol!!

Ok, done. I always doubt myself, but the clients usually are happy. This was the first time I've had to come up with 2 full face originals though. Thanks for the encouraging words and help! And Len, I was gonna put the white on the noses & forgot, lol! Oh well, they where happy!
Re: Raccoon for a Snow White play

Re: Raccoon for a Snow White play
Thanks Nancy!
And YAY! I made the paper and online! 2nd page of the paper paper, lol! And on their site there is an article with a gallery attached and my little girls are in there. They didn't site me, but there is a place below for comments. I left a comment about the little girls being sweet and talented little actresses. Then I also put in that I had painted them and left my web address. Hahaha, did my own free advertising there! Don't no if the paper will delete it or not, but it's there for now, LOL!
