My Fun Safari Event
I got to face paint for a pediatric dentists office. They will be displaying these photos in their office to go along with their offices safari theme. Since we were going for photo quality I got to take my time for each one. Thank God for the Wolfe Brother's books!
Re: My Fun Safari Event
These are totally fabulous! You are very talented. I have never used any books...what book did these designs come from? I love the Cheetah face on the bottom right, and I also really like your Zebra face. I don't really have a great Zebra...I need one!

Extreme Face Painting by the Wolfe Brothers & some of their mini step by step books. The Cheetah, the zebra & the elephant are theirs.

Psalm you did a really beautiful job. I know those kids are not going to want to wash their faces, but how nice they will get to see themselves everytime they go to the dentist.
Re: My Fun Safari Event
Too bad the dental hygienist that was the photographer didn't wait for the paint to wear off the one boy's teeth
I'm not sure a picture of someone w/ black stuff on their teeth is a good promotion

Re: My Fun Safari Event
Those are all so great, I especially love the style in which you painted all the cat ears, I'm borrowing that!
Re: My Fun Safari Event
Thanks all. The metallics are dfx gold/dfx bronze or dfx gold/dfx metallic orange. I like to double & triple load these colors for the tigers, lions, jaguars & cheetahs.
I like to sponge the white areas 1st & then go back & sponge the metallics. Then it's just linework & you're done. All the big cats are done in 3-5 minutes.

Thanks for sharing these! I especially love the snake. Nice to see those DFX metalics too, since I am at this moment looking on-line at purchasing some. I wondered how they would look on the face.
Re: My Fun Safari Event
Angie, I am uncontrollably in love with metallics! I was at an event where multiple face painters were hired & I honestly think that the metallics were the reason so many people commented on my work over the other painters. I've gotten 3 gigs off that event
Re: My Fun Safari Event
Ahh... I am struggling! LOL. (Struggling not to spend a fortune on new paints! ) I simply must have at least half of them though. I have a few spaces left in my palette that are crying out for metallics. LOL.
Re: My Fun Safari Event
Great paintings Linda! Don't forget to leave business cards. Those photos are gonna be great advertisement for you.
Angie, I want metallics as well. I was thinking of going with TAG because of the large cost difference. My swap buddy sent me the orange for Christmas and I am very pleased with it. Next to DFX metallics, it had the same level of metallic effect. The only difference was the tone of orange. The TAG one seemed to have a little more red in it than the DFX, but it defiantly wasn't a huge difference between the two. So for the cost difference, I'm thinking TAG is a viable option.
