I think the idea of a Spruce up your Kit thingy would be great!

Suzy, I'm working with my head in the clouds...anything below my waist is under my radar (blasted legs are almost 3.5ft long).

Corinne Rodgers recommended paint pens and I love the results on my Fat Max! They come on different colors!

I like the idea of paint pens! I'm going to try that. Well, I couldn't find the colors I wanted in the paints, so I went with black burgundy and lavender...I don't know why I like that color combination..but I do. So I have the outer doors/lid burgundy and the inner drawers and bucket lavendar. I still have to decorate before I take any pictures, but they will be forthcoming. I like the fact that my box doesn't violate my anti-girly sentiment (it's a long story and involves explosive ammunition) but it's not something a guy would touch voluntarily. The paint is awesome and the box looks like I bought it that way! Naturally, because I am impatient, I didn't tape the box up to paint it...I found a way to tap out the suspension pins and latches and took the box apart.

Yes...I'm insane...thanks for asking.

hmm.... I see a green thing in the third picture... maybe it comes off as silver on your screen... It is just the blunt end of a paintbrush

Could you please, oh, please give me the dimentions on the entire unit and the depth of each drawer?
I'm looking at having my dad pick this up for me and ship it, but I want to be absolutely sure it will fit my supplies.
Do you think a gallon milk jug will fit in the bottom compartment?
Thanks!!!

I GOT MINE!!!
My dad lives in WI and has a local Menards. I had him pick it up and bring it with him when he came to visit.
Now I'm looking for the plastic spray paint in a color to match my pretty, pretty new banner...
And yes! It is everything I hoped it would be and MORE!

I LOVE this! Even though I paint standing at a table, I am still looking for an attractive and efficient method to transporting all those little (and big!) things we can't live without. I wonder if I could take a FatMax to an auto paint shop and what they would charge? That would be an awesome Christmas gift to ask my dh for! Very Happy

Kym, did you ever find out?

Suzy, thanks for sharing. I'm soo envious. It's all sorts of lovely.

We don't have a Menards in Canada, and it isn't available for online shopping. Sad

Then I suggest...you don't marry him!...hahaha!...jk....I have been married almost 41 years...and my husband do a LOT around here now...okay he cooks...does fold my stuff but he has done his own for years...
When I learn to post picture here. I will show you what i painted on my old case...palm tree scene...and i also just got a fatmax about a month ago...and will be paintng on that one. I just use plaid outdoor paint...works great....will probably paint another tropical scene since I think i should really be ...a .... "island girl!"....but can't figure out how to post pics yet...will work on that in the next week or so....
Love learn from you ALL!...thanks for sharing!
