HELP! IM DESPARATE!

I have a practice job on Sunday for a friend's kid whose birthday party is the Avatar, the anime cartoon from Nickelodeon. I can't think of any face designs for this!! I have the arrows on the head and hands for Aang with little white embellishments. I can do the actual symbols for each element but that's it and I can't think of what else to do! I feel like it's not enough and this is a good opportunity for me to network and I'm so stressed I'm gonna blow it 😭😭😭😭😭

Ideas? Please? Has anyone had to do a cartoon theme like this that isn't easily translated into face paint?

hmm, i did a search in Google images and the characters are pretty simple.

what about doing the character in an action pose and background from a scene, on the forehead or cheek? maybe several different designs, one for each different character.

you really don't have time to develop a portfolio of designs in one day, so keep it simple and bright colored, using the show's colors and symbols.

I'm gonna work on some basic figures with the right colors to match the characters doing some bending tomorrow. I did get a good Appa and Momo cheek art. Guess I have tomorrow to see if I can do a decent figure lol. (Panicked laughter)

most face painters mention that even at themed parties, kids mostly pick their other regular designs, so don't worry too much

I know I'm a bit late on this but what you can also propose is a design with aang's arrow, as is or with more ornated stuff around. Maybe abstract mask representing each bending ?

If you want to just do cheek art, you can always opt for the 4 nations symbols

Thanks so much guys! I'm a fan of he anime as well (this gave me an excuse to buy the DVDs set lol) but coming up with faces was tricky. I'll post a pic of what I've come up with. The full body figures are a little funny looking but I kinda like them anyway lol.

My event was a success! The kids definitely threw me some curve balls: did my first bird, dolphin and flower lol. But they also asked for superheroes and animals (which are my best faces). The adults asked more for the avatar designs lol. In all it was a great time and I'm really proud of myself.
