Boy Valentine Designs.
I'd like to start a thread here for Boy Valentine ideas. I've volunteered to paint my daughter's class for their Valentine party, and can't for the life of me think of something besides girly heart designs.
Actually, i do have one idea. I'll post it here tonight or tomorrow.

dragon breathing hearts instead of fire
frog prince
heart with devil tail and wings (tattoo style)
valentine cheetah (valentine themed rainbow cake with heart shaped spots..or mabe just add red into a regular cheetah and some red accents?)
(these aren't things I've painted but they are ALL on my list of designs I want to perfect!)

Re: Boy Valentine Designs.
I was thinking that for a certain age you could do anatomic hearts. Also, adding dripping blood to any design is good for boys.
And the one thing I have learned is that despite themes and working on cool designs the kids want the usual! So if you work on designs and you *want* to use them, then you have to have pictures and be firm about what you are doing. Otherwise, just go with the flow and paint spidermen & tigers!

Re: Boy Valentine Designs.
The little heartbreaker design in the Valentine's Day challenge is a cute one that boys would like.

I agree with what Michelle is saying. I would imagine most of the boys won't want heart type designs unless it has a dagger through it.
I would just offer the usual boy designs and maybe just incorporate a little heart in the design just to get in the spirit of V-day. Like maybe a heart nose for the tiger or a heart shaped spider in the middle of a spiderman mask. Do the batman mask with a little heart on the cheek or forehead. Pirate face with little hearts on the bandana.

Also think Johnny Depp style Don Juan look - moustache etc, LAtin Lovers
Anything by Tim Burton is good - the goth look counts as cool...

when I read this thread, it reminded me of this idea, I find it works with both boys and girlsthis was done on a 12yr old boys armand here on a girl
Re: Boy Valentine Designs.
Heart in tattoo style with ribbon over with name in is surprisingly popular in all ages. Heart in two pieces. Spider with a heart as a body (or as marking). Heart with safety pin in. Heart with arms/legs and a face painted on. Burning heart!
