I got a Wacom pend and tablet recently and decided to use it to draw out face painting designs for practice. I rather like it Smile

Here's a tiger that I did last night.

Wacom is great! I have one I got back in 2001 and it still works fine. How many electronic equipment can do that?

Nice Tiger by the way =)

Very cool. If it's what I think it is, my husband wants to get one for photo editing.

I tried a simlar thing before, tring to develop a chimp pattern for my daughter. Took a picture of her and edited it a paint program. It looks better than it turned out on her.

Chris, I think you have to work more transparent on the photo for being able to determinate how it will look in real life. Would like to see "real" face painting =)

I think that transparency might help some, but I think that more importantly, you have to follow the lines of the face with your drawing. You can't just draw a straight line across the face and then think that it's gonna look just like that when you paint it.

You have to follow the contours of the eyes, cheeks, nose, chin, forehead and the overall spherical nature of the head Smile

Ashley- What a cool idea!!! Not that I should be buying any other gadgets --just got my ipod touch and need to get a new laptop soon - but loving that idea and inspiration!!! It is a great crisp design!!!!
