Re: Wuppie addict... (New)
What are wuppies? I've never heard of them before, is it a cartoon character?
Re: Wuppie addict... (New)
Thank you all!
Katurah, I'm already on wuppie Waggon, you'll find my wuppies there too!
Tineke, they're kind of an advertising thing, little furry balls with eyes and sticky feet, which were very popular in 2006 in the Netherlands!

Aaaaaaah, those!!! they were popular in the 80's and early '90s when I was a kid
Re: Wuppie addict... (New)
Yeah, those are super cute with the daubers??? Is that how you do it? Throw some black little hair lines in and throw on some wiggly eyes? Might have to try. They would probably sell really well.

YAY! I have been staring down the googly eyes wondering "What design could I possibly use these on without it being "weird"?" This is it!!

Lizzie, you are so talented. These are just amazing. What a great artist you are, I'm so envious, but I really admire you

Tina, they went down a storm at the charity event I did last Saturday. Teenagers particularly loved them - I think they have the right mixture of cool and cute, without being inherently "childish" to them. I always make them promise to look after their wuppie, and then ask them to name it when they "meet" it in the mirror. Makes everyone laugh.

And I absolutely agree, Lizzie - you're so talented. I hadn't seen these particular little fuzzies before! Love them!

THat's SO cute!! I love having goofy stuff to say to kids! hahaha.....I had a line of boys (about 6) who all wanted snakes and I said "you're not afraid of snakes are you?" just before the mirror reveal..and at the end of this line was a cute little girl who wanted a butterfly and I said "you're not afraid of butterflies are you?" The entire line erupted in laughter and the little girl laughed so hard she was tearing up and I had to touch up the butterfly before she ever left the chair! lol
